ACV Glazed Brussels - GF V NF

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 C ACV

  • 16oz Honey

  • 3tbs Butter

  • 1/4 C Maple Syrup

  • 24oz Brussels - halved

  • Olive Oil

  • Sea Salt

Instructions:

  1. Toss the Brussels with oil and sea salt. It’s ok and encouraged for a lot of the leaves to come off, makes it crispy.

  2. Start your glaze

    1. Put the honey, butter, syrup, and ACV in a pot and bring to a boil on medium heat, lower the temp down to medium/low and simmer. You’re going to simmer this for a long time. Stir sporadically but not too often, let it just go. When the bubbles start forming a foam, stir till the foam dissolves and then let it do it again. Keep this going until it becomes pretty thick and sticks to the sides of the pot (30-60 mins)

  3. Bake the Brussels at 375 till roasted and soft enough to poke easily with a fork

  4. To serve, combine glaze with Brussels

  5. Optional: add a lil bacon 🥓
